Gordon ramsay Bar and Grill
The concept and interior of Gordon Ramsay Bar Budapest are the result of an intensive design and implementation process spanning nearly eight months. The aim was to create a distinctive space that reflects the international identity of the Gordon Ramsay brand, responds to the unique atmosphere of Budapest, and integrates naturally into the sophisticated setting of the Dorothea Hotel.
The project was developed in close collaboration with representatives of the Gordon Ramsay brand, Marriott’s operational team, and the specialists of the Dorothea Hotel. Throughout the continuous dialogue, the space was shaped not only by creative ideas, but also by operational, technical, and brand requirements. The often exceptionally demanding pace of the eight-month process also ensured that even the smallest details became part of a coherent and consistent overall concept. The collaboration between the various designers, consultants, and specialist teams made it possible to transform the initial ideas into a cohesive, fully functional hospitality space, down to the finest detail.
Having a dialogue between old and new played an important role in shaping the interior: bespoke elements, contemporary details, vintage pieces, and carefully selected materials were brought together to create a layered and distinctive environment. The aim was to develop an interior with a character of its own—one in which the Gordon Ramsay identity remains clearly recognisable in it's super high standards, while still leaving room for personal stories, objects, and visual references of Budapest.
